Robert Kenny is a partner with Schain, Burney, Banks & Kenny, Ltd., where he practices in the areas of land use, zoning, municipal law, litigation, developer incentives and government relations. He represents individuals and developers in all aspects of land use and zoning matters including single family, multiple family, commercial and industrial developments. Mr. Kenny represents municipalities in various aspects of municipal law. He represents clients before county and state boards and agencies and is involved in complex annexation matters at the local and state court levels.
Mr. Kenny serves as the Village Attorney for the Village of Palatine and the Village of Vernon Hills.
He has lectured on the First Amendment Right of Free Speech before the Chicago Bar Association, tax increment financing at real estate seminars and telecommunication issues for municipalities before the Illinois Municipal League.
